Displaying reports and dashboards on a visualforce page

Displaying reports and dashboards on a visualforce page is very quick and easy to implement. After reading this post I would recommend reading my post on tabbed visualforce pages. Combining what is discussed in both posts would enable you to have one area that displays reports and/or dashboards for one particular area of the organisation.

To display a report or dashboard the iframe component is used. Copy and paste the code below into your visualforce, entering the id of your report or dashboard. You may also wish to adjust the height of the iframe.

<apex:iframe src=”/ReportorDashboardID?isdtp=nv scrolling=”true” height=”1588px” width=”100%”/>

Load up your page and you should find they look similar to the images below:
